Parents

Joining a fraternity is one of the biggest decisions your son can make in his college career. By visiting this site you are already taking an active role in helping your son make an informed decision about a commitment that will last a lifetime. Please feel free to browse the rest of our site and familiarize yourself with our fraternity.

Theta Delta Chi has a long tradition of strengthening the intellectual, moral, and social being of our brothers through friendship and close adherence to the values upon which we were founded. From a small room in the West College building of Union College to some of the most prestigious campuses in North America, Theta Delta Chi has been developing leaders since 1847.

Our commitment to academic excellence is bolstered by the Theta Delta Chi Educational Foundation, which gives away thousands of dollars in scholarships annually. The Foundation also funds numerous opportunities for personal development and leadership training through such programs as the NIC’s UIFI and Future’s Quest. Grants are also available for projects of a general educational nature to help your son improve the college community in which he resides.

Many parents and students have concerns about the new member program. Your son’s introduction into Theta Delta Chi is one that will provide him with a solid foundation to achieve success in college and beyond. Hazing, in any form, has no place in Theta Delta Chi, and we encourage parents and students alike to contact us if ever they witness actions in violations of the values and policies of this fraternity.

Thank you for your interest in Theta Delta Chi, and for your continued involvement in your son’s life.
